I cannot believe how many skirts I have purchased from J. Crew this past week or so.... I counted eight! But with 30 percent off sale price, it is hard to say no.
This is the Feather Paisley No. 2 Pencil Skirt from J. Crew. Retail $118, purchased for less than $50. It fits like all the other No. 2 Pencil skirts and I like that the material feels thick as opposed to thin. I'm not sure what I will wear this with besides basic neutral tops, but I love the print and look of it.

Crewaholic
I don't care to admit how many times I have made a J. Crew purchase in the past week. Furthermore, I don't care to admit how many J. Crew stores all over my lovely state that I have traveled to in the past week as the sale is going on. However, for those in the know, you have to grab what you like at J. Crew because if you don't, someone else will.
These skirts were purchased on separate days over the past week at three different stores (as if that somehow saves me money on my credit card bill! On the left is the Gardenshade Floral No. 2 Pencil Skirt. It makes me feel as though I am wearing a Claude Monet watercolor! The skirt in the middle is the Superfine Cotton Pencil Skirt in Navy. I was a bit iffy about a navy skirt but I was eager to get away from my standard black skirts. And boy was I surprised to see a superfine cotton skirt sitting on its own on the sale rack, with 30 off, and in my size! I think that ended up priced on sale by mistake as it rang up full price but the SA adjusted it to reflect the markdown. I wore the navy skirt today with a bright color top and received many compliments. The skirt on the right is the Postage Stamp Big Apple Mini Skirt. I was a bit iffy about buying a miniskirt as I am more of a pencil skirt girl. However, one of the advantages of being 5'3 is that mini skirts can still look work appropriate on my frame. I think that skirt will work great with neutrals. I liked the store mannequin look which paired the skirt with a chambray skirt.

J Crew 30 pct sale!
Oh boy did I go overboard! But J. Crew, on sale, plus 30 off is too good to pass up:
While at J. Crew I bought the maritime dress and the purple medallion paisley skirt
I also picked up this cute "royal" blue boyfriend blazer at Forever 21, and this woven leather belt at Ann Taylor Loft. The belt was on sale plus 40 off.

Day-Glo Yellow
After buying the citron double serge cotton pencil skirt from J. Crew last week (see previous post), I've decided that I really like the neon this spring. At first I was definitely hesitant but with neutrals it seems to give your outfit just enough pop.
The GAP striped dolman tee is my fave. I love it so much that I bought all four of the colors offered, the citron yellow, the hot pink, the neon orange, and the blue. It would seem that I am late to get on this trend as the shirts were all on clearance and I had to visit multiple GAP stores to purchase them all in my size. Best part? Each shirt was about $8! The skinny patent belt is from Ann Taylor and it was the last one at the story i shopped in. It is very similar to the coral one I bought there a few weeks back. The store was 30 percent off so the belt was just $21.

Blue hues from J. Crew
It rhymes!
Yes I was feeling the blues at J. Crew, but in a totally good way!
This is the retro dot tunic (navy) -- which runs totally big! I bought in an XS, which was surprising. I also bought another double serge pencil skirt, this time in Casablanca Blue (on sale!). It cost more than I normally pay for a skirt, but after buying the citron color, I am totally in love!
